Workout Wednesday

Hey guys! Hope your Wednesday is more exciting than mine, here’s my plan for the day:

I went to the gym this morning and did the Day 3: Glutes/Shoulders workout (not my favorite). It consisted of:

Barbell squats x 12, 10, 10, 10 (95#, 105#)
Dumbbell lunges x 12, 10, 8, 8 (20#)
Glute bridges 4 x 20 (body weight)
Freehand jump squats 3 x 15
Side lateral raises 2 x 15 (10# each hand)
Front dumbbell raises 2 x 15 (10# each hand)
Seated military press 2 x 15 (10# each hand)

I also did 10 minutes on the recumbent bike because I had some extra time before I needed to shower and change.

On to the meal plan for today:

Breakfast: 3/4c Nature’s Path cereal with 1c almond milk
Snack: light string cheese
Lunch: 2c tomato soup
Snack: apple, 100 cal pack walnuts
Dinner: Lean Pad Thai

Also on the schedule for today are a 3 mile run, and riding at least the baby horse if not both horses. I’m hoping the barn will have dried out a bit, and that they will have gotten the fallen trees and branches moved and the fences back up.

Other than that it seems like it’s going to be another fairly boring day of orientation with the surgery interns. I’ll be back later this evening with the Pad Thai recipe for you guys.
